Comments for Sly CivilianThese are the adventures and musings of one Sly Civilian, an undercover agent deep in the heart of academia.Comment on those who would give up a little security by Sly Civilian- September 22, 2008 indeed it is. and, no, i didn't mean to imply she was the real criminal of the nixon adminstration. she just happens to make a good illustration of what you have to do to defend someone like nixon.http://slycivilian.com/?p=362#comment-77446 Comment on those who would give up a little security by Daisy- September 21, 2008 Is that Rosemary Wood In her defense: Although they blamed her, I think she was actually innocent and just took the fall for Nixon's decisions. She didn't erase anything, that was just their handy-dandy excuse for a very useful 18 minute gap. (Surprised that people are taking the word of the Nixon admin for anything.)http://slycivilian.com/?p=362#comment-77434 Comment on docs by Sly Civilian- September 17, 2008 just posted an update that should explain what i meant...http://slycivilian.com/?p=361#comment-77007 Comment on docs by those who would give up a little security Sly Civilian- September 17, 2008 ... why I posted docs. S'horribly embarrassing. It's not so bad in public because there's movement everywhere, but smaller rooms and individual or subject spaces, like classrooms, are a bit of hell.http://slycivilian.com/?p=350#comment-76591 Comment on a hard freeze by A.W.- September 11, 2008 Oddly enough, I do have a smidge of an idea. Quantum physics. I find a lot of people read about quantum physics and faster than light travel and despite (or perhaps because of) the interesting questions and theories, their mind wanders off on how it could be applied, is similar to or different from damn near any other subject. Every time I try and read about it my mind takes a concept and runs away from me, attaching it to everything and its sister in Ooooo-Pretty's, Oh-Look's! and I-Wonder's...http://slycivilian.com/?p=350#comment-76590 Comment on this much i know by Sly Civilian- September 6, 2008 oh, i know. there are idiots ready, willing, and able to do that kind of crap. what i think hurts us as a society is when the entire police presence and gear up happens expecting everyone will behave that way. it gives the faux-anarchy set a great way to get their hippy creds while leaving us all (and especially minority neighborhoods) with a newly militarized police force. i hadn't heard that about goodman, but i still question her arrest strongly. breaking a line is perhaps not smart,...http://slycivilian.com/?p=358#comment-76200 Comment on this much i know by Mike- September 6, 2008 The top five Rules for Protesting that were broken by someone who was protesting this week: 1. Never bring a gun to a protest. Never never NEVER. When you're arrested with a gun, police then assume that someone in every group has a gun, and deal with the crowds accordingly. 2. Never fuck with hospitals, ambulances, or any other emergency medical services. I don't think that all of this made it into the public view, so if you want details, ask me, Sly. It wasn't terrible, just terribly...http://slycivilian.com/?p=358#comment-76182 |
