Oh My Gosh, I would have probably picked it up thinking this was a good choice. Thank you for posting this so that we can avoid it. Amy

I have heard about this book and how misguided it is! How terrible to mislead young people ( and adults). Patricia

Hi Noreen! I'm so happy you took a side trip from Ann's to visit me :) I too love TN. It is so beautiful here - don't think I could ever live without mountains again! What a blessing to have passed homeschooling to another generation...I pray that my boys will do the same some day, if the Lord tarries... Blessings, Cheri

Thanks for posting this. This is one of the many reasons that we home school our children. Ruth, PA

Hi Cheri, I ventured onto your blog from Ann over at H.E. and love it! Tennesses is one of my favorite states, we've got relatives near Nashville and I have loved every minute spent there. I also love herbs and have used them for years, but not as much as I should. I homeschooled my two daughters and they are homeschooling their little ones. Blessings to you and yours...I also love Elisabeth Elliot. Noreen

Comment on Join me in October! by TNfarmgirl - September 19, 2008

Rebecca, I'll email you the "how to" for signing up! Cheri Andrea, I've only been to the Biltmore in the summer and the winter. I've heard spring is beautiful when all of their gardens are in bloom. Also, Christmas is supposed to be breathtaking with decorations everywhere. Cheri
