For the team "Ace", this is another odd turn in his past 2 years of going from opening day starter to closer to opening day starter to triple A starter. Hopefully the minor league assignments gets him straightened out and ready for the second half, the Phillies sure could use him with his Ace game. After Evan Longoria hit an infield single past Wakefield, on which Dustin Pedroia fell down, Wakefield sent him to second base on the wild pitch. Then, when Dioner Navarro singled to right field, Longoria came home to give the Rays the lead. Ellsbury converted a swinging bunt into three bases when Dioner Navarro threw the ball past him and into the Rays bullpen area in foul territory in right field. Ellsbury lost his helmet when he made contact with Carlos Pena, then headed to third. Dustin Pedroia popped up, but J.D.
