MMC holds third round of mining lottery - September 14, 2005

Patch Deployment - September 12, 2005

A small patch will be deployed tomorrow, 13 September, to resolve some issues from the previous patch. Downtime will be extended slightly for this deployment and should run between 1100 to 1300 GMT. Patch Notes will be available shortly and Known Issues will be updated. As always, it is recommended to not have a skill set to complete training until after the scheduled downtime. The forums will not be available during the patch deployment.

Sunday Tranquility Startup Troubles - September 11, 2005

Tranquility had problems starting up today and we immediately started diagnosing everything, trying to pinpoint the problem. We still haven't found exactly what was causing the problems, but we have localized it to 10 machines. The workaround to get Tranquility up is to start without the 10 servers which seem to be the problem, since it's most likely network related. The Ashen Lion Mining and Production Consortium ran a racing event back in June and, after a tough few months, they're back on track, planning another event for this Sunday.
