It is a port of the PSP version which in turn was based on an expanded and enhanced version of the PS2 release. The core game is a solid strategy-RPG, and the DS release is true to that game. That said, the only reason to get this is if you haven't already played it on the PS2 or particularly on the PSP. It took half an hour of extremely cheesy indie music and loading screens to create a face that barely resembled me.
