I know that some knock Taurus&8217; quality, but my wife keeps a 3&8243; Taurus 431 in .44 Special by the bedside and it&8217;s never failed to work flawlessly. Of course, she doesn&8217;t beat it up by firing gazillions of hot loads through it. Also, I think that Taurus still maks a small, concealable revolver in .45 Colt, but the model number escapes me at the moment.
