Gallini: Chelsea Bid for Kaka - (Found July 6, 2008 )

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is quoted in Italian newspaper "La Stampa" that Chelsea Football Club have made a substantial offer for Kaka. The offer was made shortly after Felipe Scolaris appointment was announced as new manager at Stamford Bridge and makes an emphatic statement of intent about the type of football the Brazilian and Abramovich want at Chelsea.

A.I.S.A tour prices 2008-2009 - (Found July 6, 2008 )

Airdrie Independent supporters association have announced the prices for this season ramblings, nine grounds to visit once again and it looks as though this will once again be the only bus departing Airdrie that's guaranteed not to get you sent home before watching the match. The bus service is there to be used.

Saints have overtook the Rhinos, and are on top of the engage Super League for the first time this season. After the Rhinos failed to complete the fight back last night against the Wigan Warriors at the JJB, the Saints from Merseyside knew that if they beat the Quins, at the Stoop, by thirty two points or more, they would be on top of the table tonight.

WIGAN HANG ON IN RHINOS FIGHTBACK! - (Found July 6, 2008 )

All six Rhinos internationals were fit, and ready for this one. But the nerves must have got to them crossing the Pennines and as they entered Lancashire. The Warriors started off well, too well, too quick: Within the first minute, Wigan ran the kick off into the Leeds twenty metre line, and after a grubber kick was collected by their new Australian signing Cameron Phelps.

'Give club back to fans' call - (Found July 6, 2008 )

FORMER Coventry officials Ian Carvell and Graham Robbins have called for the club to be handed back to the 'members'. Carvell, a former chief executive, and ex-Cov and England No.8 Robbins worked together at the club as directors of rugby until mounting an unsuccessful management buy-out. Both fear that the club is in danger and want it to return to being a membership club

Cov say thanks for late reprieve - (Found July 6, 2008 )

COVENTRY RUGBY CLUB said thanks to its supporters and the people of the city yesterday after the RFU confirmed they would be allowed to carry in playing in National League One next season. The club issued a brief statement after rugby's top brass confirmed yesterday's Coventry Telegraph story that the club had been saved.
