I've been on vacation for a total of an hour and 45 minutes, and I've already driven home, retrieved the mail, cleaned the yard, mowed the lawn, chlorinated the pool, taken a shower, fiddled around with some songwriting, made (and eaten) supper, answered e-mail, and now...written a blog post. It's just not that funny anymore. But I'll be tuning in this week when SNL re-runs their first episode in tribute to its host: George Carlin. Even in this DVDDVR age, there are some events worth having the country gathered around the boob tube at the same time.
