After soldiering along in Radio for two years, I have opted not to renew my Radio subscription when it expires. Set in the 1950s, the movie was about the role newscaster Edward R. Murrow played in the ruin of red-baiting Senator Joseph McCarthy. The film is stunningly shot in black-and-white, and for the smoke tendrils curling from Murrow's cigarette, alone, you'd practically want to take up the habit, if you haven't.
