Since the 4th of July will be here soon I'm posting this with red, white and blue pasta, but the possibilities are endless! Use red and green pasta for Christmas, Easter egg colors for Easter, or for Halloween use orange pasta and throw in some black olives. This is the version of a recipe from Ellie Krieger that I made after reading some of the reviews on the Food Network site. This looks long and complex, but remember, you can cook and puree the squash (and even cook the pasta) on the weekend and refrigerate everything.
