It is a great mix of a white sauce and a red sauce with a nice little kick. We usually request it for our "Sunday dinners". Definitely a nice change. We all love it and usually make breaded chicken, good garlic bread and a tossed salad to finish off the meal. Yum!! :) -- posted by bella10http://www.recipezaar.com/311668 My Gourmet Pizza- July 3, 2008 I came up with this recipe about 10 or 15 years ago while I was getting into making bread. I like to use my hands when mixing and kneading doughs, but I'm sure that this will work fine in a bread mixer, as well. The dough will make 1 nice thick pizza or 2 thin pizzas. She served this at a party, and my husband and I couldn't stop eating it! You can experiment with different dried fruits, nuts, and cheeses (apricots, dates, macadamia nuts, pistachios, stilton, feta, etc..), but the fruitnutcheese combo is the key! I usually use reduced-fat blue cheese, but the computer wouldn't recognize the ingredient, so I used regular gorgonzola in the recipe. -- posted by Chef...http://www.recipezaar.com/311628 Best Vegetarian Chili!!!- July 3, 2008 This is my version of vegetarian chili. I've tried a lot of them, and this is my favorite. I served it at my restaurant and I had to keep making more every time I served so I wouldn't sell out.
