Berry Vanilla Breakfast Cake - March 20, 2008

My friend emailed this recipe to me as a quick, easy, no eggsno milk dessert. It doesn't have to be for breakfast at all. The original recipe called for Cherry filling, but I prefer to use Blackberry filling. I changed the name to "Berry" because you could use any you wish. Enjoy! -- posted by Adria82

Quick Cranberry Apple Dessert (Pillsbury Winner) - March 17, 2008

Credit for this recipe goes to Marie Balhiser of Oregon who entered it in the 1976 Bake-Off. The sweet apples pair up with the tang of cranberries for a wonderful filling that's topped with flaky biscuits. Mmmm. -- posted by DuChick

Quick and Easy Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler - March 1, 2008

Another recipe from my Granny. It's actually named "Best Cobbler Ever" and it is the one I usually turn to when those fresh Georgia peaches are in season! With three little helpers in my kitchen, it's not always quick and easy -- but if you are making it by yourself, it is! Once you get the peaches peeled and sliced, it's in the oven before you know it. It's good warm with ice cream on top, or cold straight from the fridge... -- posted by Whatcha Cookin', Mom

Apple and Raspberry Crisp - March 1, 2008

From Anne Lindsay cookbook. This uses the minimum amount of fat and sugar with lots of fruit and oatmeal for fiber. This tastes so good especially in the cool autumn months. I often use frozen mixed fruit like strawberryblackberryblueberryraspberry. -- posted by mums the word
