A 16-year-old Baileyville boy was killed Saturday morning in a single car crash in Alexander.Jordan Brown was driving a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix that drifted off the Cooper Road, struck a tree and caught fire, according to Deputy Tom Chambers of the Washington County Sheriff's Department. Massachusetts Man Dies While Fishing - June 4, 2008

Authorities say a 62-year old retired firefighter from Quincy, Massachusetts, died while fishing on Grand Lake Stream. State Game Warden Brad Richard said Chester Aniolowski and a friend were fishing on the water's edge near the Grand Lake Stream Fish Hatchery on Monday when Aniolowski fell into the deep water. Aniolowski's fishing buddy, Joe Verlicco, also a retired firefighter from Quincy, said he jumped into the water and tried to keep Aniolowski's head above water, according to officials. .
