Quest for Cool Air on '2008-08-17' (Bay Area Events) - (Found July 8, 2008 )

Meet at the Rancho Shopping center on Foothill Expressway in Los Altos for a 9:30 departure. We will tour up over the mountains to Año Nuevo State Reserve. If there is enough advance interest for a walk out to look at the elephant seals we can make reservations for the nature walk. This should be near the end of the molting season for adult males so there might not be much to see. But if there is cool air anywhere near us, it will be there.

Summer Solstice Tour on '2008-06-22' (Bay Area Events) - (Found July 8, 2008 )

Lets make the day after "mid summer night" a time to smell the flowers by visiting Filoli Gardens. See http:www.filoli.org for details.We will leave the Rancho Shopping Center at 10AM for a relatively short tour up the peninsula to the gardens.

Felton Tour on '2008-07-27' (Bay Area Events) - (Found July 8, 2008 )

We are attempting to get permission to visit the covered bridge at Paradise Park. Baring that plan on a picnic in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. We will leave from Saratoga (exact location TBA) around 10AM.

Summer Picnic on '2008-07-19' (Region Wide Events) - (Found July 8, 2008 )

Our annual potluck picnic will be saturday July 19 at Parado Regional Park in Chino. Event will start at 10:00 am. Please bring your favorite dish to share. Soft drinks & ice cold watermelon will be provided. There is a small gate fee.

Fallbrook car show on '2008-05-25' (Southern California Events) - (Found July 8, 2008 )

Memorial Day Weekend Fallbrook car show- This show is always held on the Fallbrook Highschool football field, usually half a dozen woodies are there along with half a dozen or more turn of the century cars of various makes. Other vehicles include:vintage bikes, military jeeps, classic restored pick-ups, in addition to the normal classic cars from all decades thru the 70's. Well worth the trip, weather is usually perfect there.
