Is This the True Face of Islam - (Found July 8, 2008 )

In a world divided among unprovable and shallow ideologies that seem to be missing concern for humanity which they all aim to serve, representatives of Islam such as Mr. Zakaria might not be enhancing the global image of Islam in the manner majority world Muslims would prefer: an image of peace. Perhaps unbeknownst to him, the stance he has adopted seems to reinforce the negative image of Islam, that of rabid militancy against all other faiths.

Hundreds of minority families are displaced by attacks at Kalia, Bangladesh - (Found July 8, 2008 )

Hundreds of minority families of Chhota kalia, Kartikpur, Gobindanagar, Sitarampur and Mirzapur villages do not dare to come back to their own houses after Kalia municipality polls. Most of the people of Hindu community are still absconding from their own houses due to alleged threats on their lives.

Wall Street Journal comments on Race in India - (Found July 8, 2008 )

When Sonia Gandhi and Manmoham Singh saw APJ Abdul Kalam this week for talks on appointing Mr. Singh to lead the Indian government, there was not a Hindu in sight. It was simply the Italian born, Christian leader of the Congress Party that won elections meeting the Muslim president, and proposing a Sikh as prime minister.
