Recipezaar: Comfort Food recipesThe newest Recipezaar recipesin:Comfort FoodOld Time Borscht- July 7, 2008 Another recipe from the Company's Coming series. I didn't want to take the chance in losing it! This is one of my kids favorite soups. Very versatile. You can add or remove anything your family would like. I also make a large pot of this so I can freeze some. -- posted by Elcowgirlhttp://www.recipezaar.com/312621 Cheater S'mores- July 7, 2008 My aunt shared this recipe. This is for when you want s'mores, but you're not camping or by a fire. -- posted by KristaHhttp://www.recipezaar.com/312606 Bog Girl Tootsie Pop- July 7, 2008 My favorite alcoholic drink EVER! I hate the taste of alcohol, and in this drink you can't taste it a bit! Less then 5 minutes to make. All my friends agree that this is hands down the best drink they have ever had! Don't let the lovely brownish color deceive you though. That's just what happens when you mix all these different colored ingredients together. Just think of it as the chocolate in the middle of a actual Tootsie Pop! ENJOY!! -- posted byhttp://www.recipezaar.com/312590 Carne En Su Jugo, Estilo Tapatio- July 7, 2008 Adapted from Savoring Mexico and tweaked for our personal tastes. This is a dish from Jalisco that is indescribably delicious. It's a gorgeous soupy, spicy dish that is somehow hearty and light at the same time. If you use canned beans or they are already cooked - it is great for a weeknight soup and a sandwich! My times are estimates, as I had to make this in steps & more steps(depending on availability of kitchen)! -- posted by DiScharfhttp://www.recipezaar.com/312588 Taco Pie- July 7, 2008 My oldest son loves this dish. It is very easy. I remember clipping this out of a magazine but I have no idea what the ad was for or what magazine it was! Hopefully you enjoy this as much as we do. -- posted by yumyumumhttp://www.recipezaar.com/312570 Dj's "true" Salt Rising Bread- July 7, 2008 A special thank you to Susan Ray Brown, and her Salt Rising Bread Project! For this dish, I was looking for a single plate meal that was delicious and flavorful. So I mixed it up a little bit to create this dish. Use one pot to cook the pasta and a large sauté pan to cook the rest. Time is in the prep but I do it as I am cooking so start to finish is less than 30 minutes. Take the three minutes to gather ingredients before you start..http://www.recipezaar.com/312377 Cheddar Potato Casserole Bake- July 7, 2008 an easy casserole, with hash brown potatoes, chicken flavor, cheese, and onions. -- posted by weekend cookerhttp://www.recipezaar.com/312378 |
