Nathan on BBC iPlayer Beta: The general interface is much worse. It is hard to tell how much time is left for each item and the diabolical system of by channel makes it even harder to browse. Adding radio is great, but they should have it so it is obvious how to filter radio out of your list.They really had a good system before, which was intuitive and easy to learn. Somehow they have made it frustrating and hard to use, and now you require to have an in-depth knowledge of what program is on...

henrah on quipt: I don&39;t think RSA is necessary to secure this hack; a salted hash should be enough to do the trick. When the javascript is initially downloaded, a random string could be generated, temporarilly appended to to the javascript, and an md5 hash taken. Then the randomly-generated characters and the resultant hash could both be stored in a session cookie. No other page would be able to destructively interfere with window.name without detection, regardless of computing power,...
