Yates Is Out- (Found July 8, 2008 ) This is unfortunate. Zane Yates has bowed out of the 3rd District race for the Republican nomination. For good reasons, his father is suffering and I certainly wish him the best in coping with that. But Yates is a reasonable Republican who could have offered a credible alternative to Federer. Parties are always better when they put their best foot forward, not their most extreme---and Federer is about as extreme as they come. Moore, in an interview in her home today, defended her actions.
