What does this mean for the state of California and it's people Who knows. I'm just here to opine about it and anything else I can think of. I must admit, I probably would have voted for Arnie had I lived in Cali, though not so much because he was a movie star but because he has a pretty good business track record. The octogenarian pontiff, living with late-stage Parkinsons Disease, has apparently been unable to actually fulfill his duties as Pope for some time, now, despite reigned longer than any other Pope in history. This news comes in addition to the revelations that the Vatican is deeply in the red, and is supposedly counting on major revenues from souvenir sales surrounding the celebration for the Pope's 25th Anniversary. I am actually talking more about the forms of extremism that hit closer to home. Extremists are all over and causing problems. You see them everywhere you look, on the television or in the newspapers. Now What- (Found July 8, 2008 ) First off, I'd like to congratulate the United States troops that worked so hard to catch Saddam. Seeing Saddam's scraggly formerly tyrannical ass being treated like a common criminal is a nice sight, though I would have been perfectly happy seeing his body paraded in the street much like his kids were. Now the question remains, what do we do with him now that we have him in custody This is going to be the big question over the next week or two and one that has to be dealt with carefully. Bush is pretty well unopposed on the Republican side. This is all well, I guess, because George has done enough stupid stuff that a primary process would do little but hurt him. In case you haven't heard, two idiot judges have decided that the national do not call registry is against the law. The first one was overturned by the congress within mere days of the decision.
