Alderfer's ERG Theory - (Found July 8, 2008 )

Clayton Alderfer improved upon Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs by accounting for some of the shortcomings in the original definition of human motivators. His enhancement is called the ERG theory because it reduces Maslow's somewhat overlapping needs to three fundamental needs: Existence, Relatedness, and Growth.
