FCP Tip: Perfecting the Ken Burns- April 4, 2006 This tip is directed at people who love the Ken Burns effect which essentially is the slow zoom into a photo. The effect at times induces flickers while moving (especially vertically) which is unacceptable if it is meant for broadcast. This usually tends to happen when the photo itself is not scanned but rather shot at -- something that happens in run-n-shoot documentaries all the time.
