Grilled Shrimp Escabeche - July 13, 2008

In this recipe the fish is shrimp instead of the way I make it with swordfish! It is grilled instead of pan fried and the ingredients vary a little to make a superb escabeche! Recipe by Bobby Flay for The FoodNetwork. I didn't include resting time for the flavors to meld of 8 hours. -- posted by DiScharf

Shrimp Tikka With Fresh Mango Chutney - July 13, 2008

Shrimp get a wake-up call from a bold spice paste that really packs a punch. A brief 30-minute swim in the marinade imbues the shrimp with intense flavorjalapeno, ginger, and garlic lend heat, while garam masala contributes depth. Sparkle comes from a splash of lime juice. Think of the mango chutney as a fresh Indian salsa; it's crunchy, colorful, tart, and very refreshing. Gourmet Magazine, June 2008 edition. -- posted by DiScharf

Cheese Ball With Tuna - July 9, 2008

Possibly the easiest and quickest thing you can throw together! Time does not include chilling time, as you can chill for as long or as little as you want or serve immediately. Flavours blend better with a little time to rest though. -- posted by AshleyTruckley
