State Reports 2 Cases Of Legionnaires' Disease- June 7, 2008 The Illinois Department of Public Health says two people who used a hot tub at a hotel in McHenry County have been diagnosed with Legionnaires' Disease. Both people used the hot tub at the Hampton Inn in McHenry on the same day at the end of May. Both have been hospitalized. The disease is caused by an organism that occurs naturally in water. Symptoms include headaches, loss of appetite, aches, pains, fever and coughing.
