Man gets stuck having sex with park bench - August 14, 2008

A man in Hong Kong had to be cut free from a steel park bench after he placed his male sex organ in a hole and got stuck. Le Xing, 41, told police he thought it would be fun to have sex with the Lan Tian park bench in Hong Kong. Once he began the act with the bench and got aroused, he became stuck and called police.

Fake coyotes fooling the motorists, not the geese - August 14, 2008

HAMMOND, Ind. (AP) -- Phony coyotes set up to discourage ducks and geese from gobbling up seeds and fresh shoots from wetlands plants didn't fool the fowl, but humans were another matter. Hammond Port Authority Director Milan Kruszynski said his office has fielded several calls from passing motorists who mistook the two-dimensional cutouts on islands in Wolf Lake for dogs.

Cook gets jail for serving hairy steak - August 13, 2008

The former Wisconsin Texas Roadhouse cook who intentionally shoved hair into a customer's steak is going to jail. Ryan Kropp was sentenced to six months behind bars and three years probation on Tuesday.

I.O.C. Calls Slant-Eyed Photo of Spanish Basketball Teams "Clearly Inappropriate" - August 13, 2008

I just wrote about this the other day, and the International Olympic Committee has now commented on this. The Spanish Men's and Women's basketball teams both posed in advertising photos, pulling back their eyes to make themselves look slant-eyed. The ad was for the Spanish courier company, Seur.
