Champlain College, Woodbury College join forces - August 14, 2008

Vt. seniors score higher than peers nationally - August 14, 2008

MONTPELIER Vermont high school seniors did better than their peers nationally on the ACT college entrance exam this year. Graduating seniors in the state's class of 2008 scored at least 10 percent higher than the national average in all subjects. The national average composite score this year was 21.1 out of a possible 36 points, down from 21.2 last year, according to ACT reports.

Milton man arrested in theft of shelving - August 14, 2008

A Milton man is accused of stealing metal shelving from a Colchester furniture store and selling it to a scrap metal dealer, Colchester police said. Police said owners of Furniture World of Vermont told them metal shelving had been stolen from the rear of the business over three days.
