Recipezaar: Cheese recipesThe newest Recipezaar recipesin:CheeseSanta Fe Veggie Wrap- June 8, 2008 I combined elements from the other Santa Fe recipes on this site to make this version. I think the adobo spread and vegetable relish benefit from a night in the fridge; it's probably not essential, but it sure makes assembly a breeze to have prepped everything the night before. -- posted by HopeJohnJPhttp://www.recipezaar.com/308196 Pesto-Style Chicken Wrap- June 8, 2008 I modified Tyler Florence's basil mayonnaise by greatly increasing the amount of basil and with the addition of Parmesan. We can't have tree nuts at our house, but I'd bet grinding walnuts into the mayonnaise would add a terrific woody texture and aroma to the whole dish. I usually prep cook the night before: that's why I dressed the cooked chicken with oil and pepper, so it would stay nice and moist. -- posted by HopeJohnJPhttp://www.recipezaar.com/308128 Spinach and Goat Cheese Spread- June 8, 2008 This is another recipe from Recipes for Life II.This cookbook has wonderful recipes and I have never been disappointed in any that I have tried.I have gotten to know many of the people that have submitted recipes,( me included ) for this fundraiser cookbook. My DH calls this one the meat pie! Not such an appealing name...I know! I dug this recipe out of my Aunt's tin recipe box. It was hand written by her, but not her original recipe. It circulated around thru the church after a potluck, so she can't recall who brought it! So I did what I do and broke it down to a freezable dinner kit! -- posted by SecretIngredientshttp://www.recipezaar.com/308105 Cheese Ball- June 7, 2008 Yummy, is the word for this !!! If I try to have a party without this cheeseball everyone asks where it is! It's so easy to make and has so few ingredients that there's no reason not to make it. In fact, I usually make two. My family loves the chopped pecans it is rolled in so they would eat all around the outside and save the middle for last. I finally started adding extra pecans into the cheese mixture to make everyone happy. This goes well with any cracker, but we find we prefer wheat...http://www.recipezaar.com/308046 Mediterranean Orzo Salad- June 7, 2008 I make this often in the summer. Great for potlucks!
