My Mundane Mid-LifeThis is my personal blog - sort of a personal diary chronicling things that happen in my personal life. Yes, I'm boring, yes it's all mundane. Hey! Why do you think I called the blog My Mundane Mid-Life?One Headlight- May 3, 2006 I have a feeling that there are people out there that totally understand this... I woke up this morning and walked into the bathroom, turned-on the light, and looked into the mirror. The first thing I see is not the excessively screwed-up hair, the squinting, wrinkled eyes, the crappy body shape and condition... No, it was this tiny white spot, about double quadruple the size of the period at the end of this sentence. The zit at the end of my nose. It looks like a personal headlight, like...http://www.reallans.com/mmml.shtml?/002912.shtml Mag-stripe readers- May 1, 2006 If you've noticed for over a year now I usually don't talk about work. I use vague terms to discuss some of the things going on, like if I'm busy or not. This entry is a little different, but still is as vague as possible - don't want to get dooce'd. He did it once later, too. We've been keeping our eye on him, because typically this is not a noise a rabbit should make. In fact, this..http://www.reallans.com/mmml.shtml?/002907.shtml Robe Day!- May 1, 2006 I haven't had one of these kind of days in a long, long time... It's when you get up in the morning, put on your robe, and don't take it off until you go to bed at night. Came in handy, too, as I napped on the couch, trying to watch the White SoxAngels game. I'd drift off an inning at a time and check out the scores and pitching when I'd wake up. I love days like this... days of nothing. It's a great way to recharge.http://www.reallans.com/mmml.shtml?/002909.shtml |
