About 10 minutes later, I'd made this snazzy little bag for them. It's made of one long piece of fabric that has two side seams. To keep the side seams from poking the cards, I placed a folded piece of card stock in the bag. The card stock not only protects the cards, but it also makes it easier to get them in and out, because the bag keeps it's shape. You could totally throw this into your backpack for a day at the...http://www.futuregirl.com/craft_blog/2008/8/deck-of-cards-bag.aspx Glitter! Glitter! Glitter! Giveaway!- August 10, 2008 I love glitter. LOVE glitter. Glitter rocks. Here's an example of just how glitter-crazed I can be: I used to have this awesome set of matching skull address labels and skull checks. I used glitter glue to put sparkly red eyes on all 240 address labels. See I'm cuckoo for the glitter. I don't get to glitter things as much as I used to. It's probably been a good 8 years since I've gotten a good glitter fix. Then I got this in the mail ...Wow! I occasionally get promo packages from...http://www.futuregirl.com/craft_blog/2008/8/glitter-glitter-glitter.aspx Andrew The Owl Enabler- August 7, 2008 Last week I also got some surprise gifts from Andrew, too. She has a very special place in my heart. And, last week I got a special surprise package from Germany. She always sends me incredible chocolate, which I try to make last ... but it's usually gone in about 3 days. This time it was a delicious mocha flavored bar. So good! So gone ... so no pictures of it. The theme of the package was Owl.OK, there aren't enough words in the world to tell you how I feel about this embroidery. Now that summer is in full swing, I thought I'd share you some of the awesome creations made using my pattern (which is only $5 ... wink wink, nudge nudge).June of Planet June made this cute display for her all-white set of creatures. Such a great idea for displaying stuffies! Flickr user bayleesan turned the creatures into these adorable appliqus for her daughter's tie-dyed dresses. .http://www.futuregirl.com/craft_blog/2008/8/even-cuter-supercute-sea-creatures.aspx It's Not A Mistake, It's Character- August 4, 2008 Psst ... Diane of CraftyPod is hosting a giveaway on her blog for one of my birdcage handbags. You better zip over there and comment today because she's going to do the drawing soon!Recently I sent a package of goodies to Diane of Crafty Pod. One item was a custom-made wristlet.
