The measures taken to participate in the work of Freddie and Fannie were introduced to assure the investors that the companies will continue purchasing loans from banks and packaging loans for sale. Some officials tried to support the idea saying that the cold shoulder given to the companies was like a prove that they will be able to raise money. He mentioned that there were no better ways out as otherwise the mortgage rates would skyrocketed causing the mortgage credit availability plummeting..

We are all facing the housing crisis at present; the federal officials are trying to make some steps to shore up the nations largest sources of the mortgage funds. hey have issued new mortgage rules to prevent the previous subprime debacle If we look at the latest rules we can say that lenders have no rights to make high-risk loans without being sure that the borrower is able to pay it off. They need to verify the borrowers income and all the assets. I think these are quite reasonable measures..
