This blog has moved .... you're still getting the old stuff

I've had many problems in the last few months publishing to this blog - which is created using Google's Blogger application and then FTP'd to my domain name from within Blogger - and this is at least part of the excuse for so few posts recently (the main part of the excuse being that I haven't written any other ones of course). The web is full of threads from people upset that FTP no longer seems to work...

Why "armies" won't work; and why it might - January 2, 2008

A couple of weeks ago I speculated whether governments, in general, could be persuaded to use tools already available (such as Facebook and Wikipedia) and replace Intranets or act as a publishing zone for all FoI requests and so on. I asked "how many armies does an e-government need" I think this idea has legs - especially for those governments who haven't yet got very far in putting things online (and so haven't proliferated the hundreds of websites and thousands of intranets that..
