Comment on Christian Unschooling site & thoughts by Jema- September 15, 2008 Thanks for the link! I'm glad to find a Christian homeschooling group, most I find are secular, and most Christian HSers I meet IRL or online are curriculum based. Also really like the new layout!http://brewcrew.homeschooljournal.net/2008/09/11/christian-unschooling-site-thoughts/#comm... Comment on Christian Unschooling site & thoughts by Heather Young- September 12, 2008 Beautifully put (you should share this over there as well. :)) I hd a very hard time calling it unschooling for a very long time. Charlotte Mason inspired eclecticrelaxed was what I called it. (The only reason I finally gave in and called it unschooling is because God forced my hand and gave me the domain name--it fell right in my lap. ) It is a good thing God knows what is best for my kids because if I had had my way they would have fought me tooth and nail (and did for some time.)http://brewcrew.homeschooljournal.net/2008/09/11/christian-unschooling-site-thoughts/#comm... Comment on Christian Unschooling site & thoughts by Renae- September 11, 2008 Oh, love the new look! You've been busy, haven't you ;) I am so thankful we can rely on the wisdom God gives us to teach our own families. I'm not an unschooler, but definitely becoming more relaxed. :) When I stop worrying so much about getting my list of subjects done and enjoy the conversation and questions our days go a lot smoother. And I like that quote, too! What good is an education if you don't have lovehttp://brewcrew.homeschooljournal.net/2008/09/11/christian-unschooling-site-thoughts/#comm... Comment on In the midst of sorrow by Amy (Dandelion Seeds)- September 4, 2008 I have made a post asking for people to cover the Drews family in prayer for 24 hours leading up to the 25th of September, marking one month without "Dozer". Please stop by and add your name if you'd like, and share it on your blog for others that might be willing to "help" this family through prayer. Thanks, Amy (aka Dandelion Seeds) http:www.homeschoolblogger.comDandelionSeeds583961http://brewcrew.homeschooljournal.net/2008/08/28/in-the-midst-of-sorrow/#comment-9082 |
