John: This thread is not a space for your diatribe or personal problems. Such matters can be dealt with by email, should you have a problem with the site. Comments should be relevant to the post. We will not tolerate personal attacks. Ponta: Please ignore him. I'm sorry, I thought your comment was in reference to me (or TPR), not the other commenter. Looking at it again, I suppose it could be a bit unclear. ---------------- Any further comments with personal attacks will not be tolerated.

John S Thanks. I would like to suggest you to start arguing on the topic you want to discuss rather than calling names. If you think my argument is off the topic, please be specific. As I understand the topic, as the title suggests the author thinks Japan has a taste for red-herring. For instance, as for the comfort women issue, taking up the US case, and Korean case is red-herring, so he insisted. I disagreed. But note in the final comment, he said, "If, though, you bring up American crimes...

Ken: You don't think this guy is threadjacking Are you serious He appears on one thread and floods it with off-track comments about side issues and never addreses counterpoints, instead bringing up unrelated side issues. This is classic threadjacking, preventing actual discussion by flooding the board with noise. No one else is able to discuss the issue at hand because someone with an agenda has ruined the comment section. You need to put a stop to this immature crap, or else other users...

John: I don't think he's trying to threadjack. Don't worry. Ponta: Of course we want different opinions. Don't be insulting to us based on a comment from a visitor. That's just plain rude.

BTW I divided the comments so it won't be eaten by spam filter. No, even when I didn't use HTML tags, just long comment was held by the spam filter. And I asked to delete the double posts which I did because it didn't appear the first time. " I am sorry again for "thread jacking", though I still do not understand which was my comments irrelevant to the topic.

A request for you guys at TPR: I really hope that for now on you can prevent this type of threadjacking from happening. This guy has basically destroyed any chance for a rational conversation on the topic you wanted to discuss by filling it up with comments that aren't relevant and often don't belong here. Getting rid of this kind of crap would go a long way towards making the site better for everyone. Thank you!

Ken Ponta, there are no comments of yours in the spam filter. It gets automatically emptied out from time to time. We have full-time jobs and usually never check it. For now on, it would be best to assume that the spam filter is never checked by a human being. Thank you for checking. I suggest you guys posts what type of comment will be filtered, othewise, some people might think the comments are unfairly deleted. My commet was eaten between May 16, 2007 3:58 pm and May 16, 2007 7:48 pm. It..
