I was tasked to move servers off of the old Nortel switches and move them to Cisco switches. Sounds simple, eh Yeah, until you involve the business aspect of it. There's some oddness about legacy systems. They've been there for a long time. That means they probably grew up in a patchwork manner without a clear focus toward any particular design.
