The large Indian outsourcing companies have set up Australian offices with sizable numbers of locally hired staff. Price is not a major selling point; they offer a wide and deep skill set. Large Australian customers will only deal with a locally formed company for legal and image reasons. It is OK to deal with a local company but politically incorrect to send jobs offshore.
