104 Girls with Bangs - June 30, 2008

Shared by Mike yes. :) If you see a white woman and you are trying to figure out if she liked or just merely tolerated by white people, the best thing you can do is to get a quick look at her haircut. It is a known fact that white people love women who wear their hair with bangs that hang straight down. A number of very popular white women have worn this hairstyle including Joni Mitchell, Jane Birkin, Jenny Lewis and every girl ever photographed by Vice Magazine or the Cobrasnake. (Note:...

Moo Does Business Cards at Last - June 25, 2008

Many web workers have gone the non-traditional route with their business cards, and opted for the cute, colorful Moo cards instead. Well, very soon you can have your Web 2.0 goodness and your traditional business cards, as Moo has announced those as their next product. According to our parent GigaOM, this is a good sign that a Web 2.0 company can grow up, listen to its customers, and still not be boring. So I choose to ignore and be an optimist. Eddie is an optimist as well , but has been linking to some great stuff the last week so go check it out. RSSmeme Creator Served With Legal Threat Over RSS Shares - June 20, 2008

The foundation of RSS is in its syndication (the second 'S'). A feed, published from one location, can be read in a different location, whether it be a feed reader, a blog widget, a lifestreaming application or any number of aggregation services. The simplicity in sharing has also led some to worry about where there content goes when they hit "Publish", as, often, they lose control over where it can go. Today, RSSmeme's Benjamin Golub, who has developed a tracker for the most popular shared...

Charles and Ray Eames stamps - June 18, 2008

Yesterday, the US Post Office issued this wonderful commemorative sheet of 16 Charles and Ray Eames stamps. I bought 10 sheets. Honoring the husband-and-wife design team of Charles and Ray Eames, this commemorative sheet of 16 stamps was designed by Derry Noyes of Washington, DC, and represents the breadth of their extraordinary body of creative work, which includes architecture, furniture, film and exhibits.
