Comment on Travel Photos - Boca Raton Public Library by Brandon- September 24, 2008 Those are nice pictures. They remind me of some of the pictures my wife and I took when we vacationed down in Boca a few years back. We loved it so much we came back the 3 following summers and just last year bought some Boca Raton real estate and became residents. It is by far the best home and community weve ever lived in. Sheer beauty is abound down here.http://boardingarea.com/blogs/viewfromthewing/2008/06/29/travel-photos-boca-raton-public-l... Comment on US Airways Mastercard Now 25,000 Miles for First Use by Stefanie- September 23, 2008 Just got a big surprise when I tried to book the $99 companion ticket promised when I signed up for US Airways MasterCard - and not a good one! You can't book on the website, only on the phone at an additional $25 cost, so I guess that would be a $124 companion ticket. Be sure you haven't lost the certificate they send early on; otherwise, you'll have to wait 6-8 weeks for them to send you a new one before you can book. Also, you don't automatically get the $79 card with its big 25,000 mile..http://boardingarea.com/blogs/viewfromthewing/2008/08/03/us-airways-mastercard-now-25000-m... Comment on The Pluses and Minuses of Accruing Delta Miles for Singapore Redemptions by Gary- September 17, 2008 Foster, you cannot use DL miles for SQ flights in F on the A380 or 77W. You can fly JFK-FRA-SIN on the 747, LAX-NRT-SIN on the 747, or SFO-HKG-SIN on the 747 (although this last route is very difficult to redeem on, presumably because it is likely to switch to the A380). Alas, SFO-ICN-SIN is on the 77W. IAH--SIN is also out, so is EWR-SIN and LAX-SIN non-stops. And YVR-ICN is on a 2-class 777.http://boardingarea.com/blogs/viewfromthewing/2008/09/14/the-pluses-and-minuses-of-accruin... Comment on The Pluses and Minuses of Accruing Delta Miles for Singapore Redemptions by Gary- September 17, 2008 Mark, your starting point should be the ANA frequent flyer website, search for Singapore availability in particular LAX-NRT-SIN. That route is the easiest for awards departing from the US. LAX-NRT can be harder than the full through flight to SIN with the stop in Tokyo.http://boardingarea.com/blogs/viewfromthewing/2008/09/14/the-pluses-and-minuses-of-accruin... Comment on The Pluses and Minuses of Accruing Delta Miles for Singapore Redemptions by Foster- September 16, 2008 I am curious, though. Does DL redemption face the same issue as A redemptions on SQ, wrt no F class awards on A38077W flights If this is the case, where would one be able to even get a 120k redemption out of the US except from JFKhttp://boardingarea.com/blogs/viewfromthewing/2008/09/14/the-pluses-and-minuses-of-accruin... |
