South Colonie Central School District closed due to bus vandalism - June 14, 2008

Rumors were flying Thursday (June 12) morning of "senior prank" after 38 out of the South Colonie Central School District's 80 buses were vandalized over the night. Communications Coordinator John Noetzel said, "We don't know that this was a senior prank. We don't know who did it." Bethlehem Police seek suspects in burglary - June 9, 2008

The Bethlehem Police Department is currently investigating a burglary that occurred Friday, May 30, in Glenmont, where personal checks and credit cards were stolen.Police are asking the public to review photos of a suspect attempting to cash a stolen check at the Pioneer Bank on Central Ave. in Colonie.Police said the suspect may be accompanied by a second man, and possibly in possession of an early to mid 1990s Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra, four-door color blue.

Siena neighbors address off-campus parking - June 4, 2008

After two years of putting up with it, they won't take it anymore.A group of residents who live on Campus View Drive in Colonie have voiced their concerns about unwanted parked cars on their street. Police investigating accident involving car, bike - June 4, 2008

State Police are investigating a crash involving a car and a person on a bike. It happened on Route 155 in Colonie, right near the entrance ramp to the Northway.
