Colonie trucking company is charged with underreporting its payroll by $2.2 million.- June 23, 2008 Eagle River was arraigned June 12 on charges that it falsified business records and committed a fraudulent practice, costing the state Insurance Fund $300,981 in lost workers' compensation premiums. According to the charges, Eagle River, of 6 Norman Drive, falsified its payroll between November 2003 and November 2006 by underreporting wages, one of the factors used in determining workers' compensation premiums.
