Since December 21, I've structurally been missing out on e-mail from people or projects that I have not been filtering for explicitly. I've had several problems with my spamassassin+dovecot+procmail setup ever since I switched my server from Fedora Core over to Ubuntu (and from sendmail to procmail). Basically, the Ubuntu setup is much cleaner, but it was a little different from Fedora so I did some small hacks in order to make things work quickly, so I wouldn't lose any mail. Can't really say I missed the blogosphere for most of it. Not only did I stopped blogging, I actually stopped reading blogs as well. I had several thousand entries piled up waiting to be read in my bloglines account. I just marked everything as read. I also stopped reading most of my regular websites, stopped reading papers, stopped watching the news. Focus on productivity has proved to be, well, productive.
