A study of 430 developers in North America shows that use of Visual Basic is way down. The study shows a drop off 35% for Visual Basic 6 (and earlier versions) and worse for Microsoft it is also showing a decline of 26% for VB.NET. The most popular language according to the study is Java at 45% (of the developer population), CC++ at 40% and C at 32%.
