I don't like fish but bought out the store when they had three dollar a can wild salmon on for 79 cents. I didn't hate this and the fish eaters in the family liked it. -- posted by SWalkerhttp://www.recipezaar.com/312170 Creamy Vanilla Tapioca Pudding- July 5, 2008 This pudding is lighter and less sweet than most, but it has a wonderful creamy vanilla flavor. If it is left to set in the fridge it will solidify and have a thick texture, but my favorite way to eat it is warm straight from the pot. The preparation time does not include soaking the pearls and pre-soaked pearls are available if you wish to avoid this step. -- posted by sszzhttp://www.recipezaar.com/312157 Gf Breading for Foods- July 5, 2008 I use this to make gluten-free chicken strips and fish sticks. Cooking time listed is my estimated time for sauting chicken strips or fish sticks. Use the cardboard cheese in a can for this recipe, it holds up better than freshly grated and its cheaper! Save the good stuff for a dish where its flavor and texture will make a dfference. -- posted by Sheynathhttp://www.recipezaar.com/312106 Baked Fish With Eggplant, Capsicum and Butter Beans- July 5, 2008 A delicious, light dinner served with a simple green salad. My wife found a recipe in a "Country Living" magazine. It called for using slices of ginger, but I found it too week. Much like store bought ginger ale. This kicks it up! I just found the recipe 4 days ago and have already made 3 batches. Friends love it and can't believe you can make homemade ginger ale. I have thought about making a ginger martini with this, but have not tried it yet. -- posted by Chef 880881http://www.recipezaar.com/311996 Chori-Queso or Choriqueso Tacos- July 4, 2008 This "chori-queso"... a delectable combo of chorizo and Mexican melting cheese... was coaxed out of the world's tallest Mexican through the judicial application of wine and liberally distributed compliments on his guacamole and salsa verde. I may have to up the ante on my plying to get the recipes for the aforementioned guac and salsa. -- posted by Tzitzimitlhttp://www.recipezaar.com/311892 Deceptively Delicious Mac & Cheese (With My Twist)- July 3, 2008 This is a recipe I adapted from Jessica Seinfeld's cookbook about sneaking healthy food into recipes. It uses pureed chickpeas to thicken the cheese sauce as opposed to butter and flour. It comes together in a flash and is adaptable to many different diets. I serve it over gluten free pasta. -- posted by DreamoBwayhttp://www.recipezaar.com/311867 Caramel Pudding- July 3, 2008 This comes from a cookbook called "Pennsylvania Dutch Cookbook" by Betty Groff. -- posted by Kristi Waterworthhttp://www.recipezaar.com/311859 Baked Cabbage- July 3, 2008 This comes from a cookbook called "Pennsylvania Dutch Cookbook" by Betty Groff. -- posted by Kristi Waterworthhttp://www.recipezaar.com/311856 |
