I make these muffins the exact opposite way, but it works better for me this way and I find that I dirty up less dishes as well. I have used this mix cup for cup for Bisquick recipes and it turns out pretty well. Here is my original recipe. If you want a clear liquid, strain. If you want to use the raisin remains with it, do so since they will be pulverized.
