Another one from Chatelaine I will be trying this summer. We don't usually describe a barbecued dinner as pretty, but this one makes a knockout entrée. The light pink salmon offsets the dark green bok choy that we've lightly grilled as well. -- posted by Chef 573036http://www.recipezaar.com/302742 Drunken Fish- May 6, 2008 I have had "drunken whatever" but this is the first time I have had a chance to try drunken fish!!! A little too, too spicy(hiatal hernia)but I ate it anyway & it is delicious. Had this at Gail's house and was hoping to have it posted by El Cinco de Mayo but am just inputting(050508)t. This is delicious with rice(you know how we Cubans are!)and with guacamole, salsa & tostones!!! That is how we had it! Wonderful! Didn't include resting or cooling times. -- posted by DiScharfhttp://www.recipezaar.com/302308 Baked Salmon- May 6, 2008 This is a very healthy recipe I concocted several years ago when I was told to start eating only fish and chicken, and was told to cut back on pretty much everything I loved, so it was done out of necessity. My husband came home with a giant salmon, and this is what we did with it. It turned out great, and we love it now! I posted this on another site, and it's gotten great reviews. A few people thought it needed more seasonings, but the seasonings everyone loves are what I love and had to.http://www.recipezaar.com/302290 Easy Spiced Salmon- May 5, 2008 Adapted from WW Magazine (May 2008). The original recipe included a kind of relish which I skipped, so this was a super easy and delicious way to make salmon. We served this with fruit salad sprinkled with grated coconut. If following the WW flex plan this is about 5 pointsserving. -- posted by ellie_http://www.recipezaar.com/302050 Black Bean-Salmon Dip- May 3, 2008 "No Cooking at All", Good Food Magazine, August 1986 -- posted by JackieOhNo!http://www.recipezaar.com/301950 Herb Crusted Salmon With Mixed Greens Salad- May 1, 2008 My word, was this good. We made it on Monday and I am still thinking about it. I am trying to eat more salmon, and this recipe, along with the one posted before, are both terrific. I can't say enough good things about this salad, and with all the herbs growing in my garden to use for it...it was wonderful. -- posted by larchiehttp://www.recipezaar.com/301688 Grilled Salmon With Roasted Corn Relish- May 1, 2008 Man, we made this the other night and it was FANTASTIC! Delicious! The corn relish is not wholly dissimilar from my famous black beans and corn salsa, but we made it like this, anyways, and it was good!! -- posted by larchiehttp://www.recipezaar.com/301686 Salmon on Fennel Salad- May 1, 2008 This zesty salad complements salmons richness while almonds add crunch. The fish can be served hot or cold as a light main course. To serve it as a hearty starter for a meal, cut fish fillets in half lengthwise before grilling. If serving salmon cold, grill right away. If serving hot, make salad first. Recipe by Food and Drink Magazine, Marilyn Bentz Crowley -- posted by Lesliehttp://www.recipezaar.com/301653 |
