Bacon Lovers' Spaghetti Carbonara - May 14, 2008

This is a recipe that I had found, but made changes to in order to make it totally decadent. This is one of my family's favourite dinners, but due to the rich ingredients, I don't make it too often. It's not exactly low fat, but it's totally worth splurging on! If possible, use freshly grated Parmesan and nutmeg. -- posted by Askosrose

BLT Chicken With Rosemary-Lemon Mayonnaise - May 8, 2008

A clever, deconstructed BLT: Bread coats chicken in the form of breadcrumbs, bacon is cooked with lettuce and tomato for a simple side, and a dollop of seasoned mayonnaise acts as a sauce. Panko is available in the Asian foods section of some supermarkets and at Asian markets. from Bon Appetit, June 2008 -- posted by Karen in OC

Tasty Breakfast Cookies - May 5, 2008

My family loves these little cookies for breakfast. All three of my children gobble them right up. They contain bacon, egg, cheese and corn flakes, yet are still sweet. They have a unique flavor, but we love them, and they are fairly quick to make! This recipe was sent to us by our college president's wife in a Christmas card several years ago and we've been enjoying it ever since. -- posted by B.A.G. Mama

Crock Pot - Style Loaded Baked Potato Soup - May 1, 2008

If you like loading your baked potatoes will all those delish dairy ingredients, then you'll love this soup recipe, too! Original recipe calls for only four slices of bacon, but me--being a little piggy--love the bacon, so we always do more like 8 - 12 slices. You decide which you prefer. -- posted by Debber

Complex and Creamy Lentil & Bacon Soup - May 1, 2008

I wanted to do a lentil bacon soup but I had the idea of something smooth. I took a basic sauce and blended it in with some vegetables, stock and spices. Actually I don't know if this has been done before...Anyway; the result, a weird recipe yet delicious. At least is what I thought when coming for the second plate...Now, it has nice little flavour surprises that release in your mouth when you start to taste. Instead of stock cube, you can use your own stock or bouillon, the idea is to give...
