The mail server died, losing everyone's email and contacts. The system administrator said that both the backup drive and the main drive had failed simultaneously. Let's call the probability of the mail server hard drives simultaneously dying P(failure). And let's call the probability of the sys-admin being full of shit and there was no backup process, P(bullshit).
