National and central estimates for air emissions from road transport - May 29, 2002

This report evaluates emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants (CO2, NOx, VOCs) from road transport in the 15 EU Member States between 1981 and 1998 as well as emission projections to 20102020, based on information available at the end of 2000. It also compares different methods for preparing emission projections and proposes several actions to improve their quality. Energy and environment in the European Union - May 29, 2002

This report provides policy-makers with the information needed to assess how effectively environmental policies and concerns are being integrated into energy policies.
