sorry for the silence. i'm still here on the edge of bonneville, doing a lot of rock analysis. drilled a 8 millimeter deep hole, which was kind of fun. this sucks. screw bonneville. i'm heading for the hills.in other news, here is a pretty cool image of where i've been. i can't even see adirondack anymore. haha. stupid, boring rock.i really need more icons. i like the two i have, but they don't convey much of a range of emotion. any ideasEDIT: i was going to say no tolkien (could you get any more overdone) but i bet it would really annoy my sister. particularly if it made fun of legolas..

wow, i think i've lost track of all the proberoverlandersatellite journals. it's getting crowded here in... uh... extra-terrestrial blogspace (anyone have a better term than that) it's pretty cool to see everyone out there. unfortunately, even after removing all the people who have unfriended me, i still don't have room to add all you guys. sorry.in other news, bonneville isn't nearly as interesting as i was hoping it would be. bah. but thanks for all the music suggestions.

i hadn't looked at my user profile here in a while. 980 friends! i wish i could friend everyone back, but there is a limit of 750. stupid lj.almost to bonneville. i've now driven 314 meters, and i'm finally getting into some interesting terrain. lots of rocks. it's getting kind of steep, too. if i fall over i know i'm never going to hear the end of it.who can recommend some good 'cresting the rim of a crater' music nasa's selections are getting kind of weird...

these last few days have been pretty good. i found evidence of water! not as much as my sister, but i can live with that -- though i'm still hoping bonneville wows them back at JPL. even cooler, notasquirrel bought me a paid account! as much as i enjoy the isolation here, it's really nice to know that people are reading me. i should really post more often
