Colour at the Phoenix site- July 4, 2008 Hi Hort and others I'm now delving firmly into the realm of the "kooks" I've been a bit concerned at my inability to get "reasonable" looking colours from my RGB colour composites of the Phoenix surface. Then Hort kindly explained how proper registration of the raw phoenix images was to blame for several of the strange colours. These images are at 200% the full size of HiRISE images, and they are processed to give varied viewing of a small area of the original full frame.
