What was originally intended to be a serious story built&151;very loosely&151;around memories of my father and his beloved scooters, morphed into a sci-fihorror story as new ideas from astral projection and human auras crept in, but I haven't been able to move it much beyond the first 11,000 words. If it grows, it grows, but I think I've lost interest&151;at least for now.
