Christmas - December 29, 2003

Christmas has come and gone. I spent most of last week off work, which gave me the opportunity to play with my nieces and see all of my family together. As a Christmas present to myself I got a new Canon Digital Rebel before Christmas so that I would be able to use it throughout the week and I must say that it is an amazing camera. Not having to worry about film, my sister and I took almost 300 pictures (at least we kept 300 of the pictures we took) and I plan to upload those..

Return of the King - December 17, 2003

Last night at 12:01 am, Return of the King debuted in theatres and as an avid Tolkien fan, I was there 3 hours before the movie waiting to get good seats and I must say I was not disappointed. The Return of the King was an exceptional film that was exciting and thrilling for its entire 3.5 hours length and was extremely close to the book. If there is one movie you see this or next year, this should be it.

Thanksgiving Break - December 2, 2003

Being out of school I didn't have the full week off that students get but I did get that Thursday and Friday off of work and so was able to go to St. Louis to visit with family.
